About the Edit page

When Advanced Designer environment is selected, the Edit <form name> page is displayed and shows an image of the form. You can edit this image in the following ways:

  • Either draw an area on the form or select a box area that exists on the form and designate it as a field. When the form is used, the Digital Pen will recognise the type of information that is being written
  • Define a field with a pre-defined or custom description
  • Associate an event with the field
  • Save the new form so that it can be used.

You use the options in the Sidebar to create and define a field. The Sidebar contains the following sections:

  • Toolbox, containing the Select, Draw and Wand tools as well as tools for deleting fields, undoing actions, formatting fields and zooming the view of the form. A tooltip is provided to describe each option in the toolbox.
  • Configuration options, specific to the type of field being edited.
