Event-based integration refers to the process of captured form data being “pushed” from OpenForms to another system. This results in near realtime data movement with a minimal delay between the event occurring on OpenForms and the data being transmitted to the target system.

Event-based integration is configured in the form designer on the Events tab. The General Purpose Export Event is, as the name suggests, a standard tool that can export captured data using a variety of standard protocols.
