The application is a six page form for use by GAB Robins’ field workers to document and trigger the processing of insurance claims. Handwriting recognition (HWR) software together with magicomm’s proprietary HWR software enhancement libraries are extensively employed.
User Acceptance Testing and the pre-deployment field trial phase have been successfully completed. GAB Robins’ rollout for the solution in the UK for up to 220 users commenced on 1st March and they are now beginning the process of establishing how this application can be utilised by other areas within their Global group. A second application is under review for the UK and project discussions are progressing with GAB Robins North America for two further applications.

magicomm were invited by GAB Robins on 29th October 2004 to discuss GAB Robins’ specific requirements and received the go ahead on 5th November. magicomm delivered the application, ahead of schedule, on 16th December 2004.
