Magicomm announce the appointment of a new partner, G5ve Digital Solutions in Sydney, Australia and they have hit the ground running with a deployed application for Tour Andover Controls for over one hundred users in just three weeks from signing their partnership agreement with Magicomm Limited.
TAC’s digital pen and paper application is for field-based workers to complete Service Report and Risk Assessment forms that were re-designed by Magicomm to facilitate Anoto functionality for use with Nokia Digital Pens. Magicomm’s tailored web based administration system is incorporated; this tracks work in progress and facilitates comprehensive management information, tracks processes and delivers user access controls.
G5ve’s Managing Director, Lee Croft, commented, “I learned about Magicomm by following their progress on the Anoto web site and contacted them in July. I liked their business model and knew that a business imperative would be to ‘partner’ with a quality solution provider. I flew to the UK to meet with them, see first hand their software libraries in action and to speak to some end users. After which I needed no further persuasion. Magicomm have all of the tools necessary to deliver on time, first-rate applications. Customer oriented commitment is what I saw and what I have already experienced.” Regarding Tour Andover Controls, he went on to say, “TAC is an important multi-national company and part of the Schneider group. When I showed them some of the demonstration material that we have access to through Magicomm they challenged us to deliver their application to a tight timeframe in order to secure the business. I am delighted to say that they tested the solution and went straight to roll out.”
Gerry Mendon, National Engineering & Services Manager, TAC said “The solution delivered to us and the results and performance demonstrated have been outstanding. G5ve and Magicomm designed, created and delivered the forms and the system to process them in just under two weeks from our agreement to go ahead. In this short time that have delivered a technically competent and user-friendly solution to reduce work in progress in our Tour Andover Controls Service delivery processes.” Gerry continued, “I particularly thank Lee Croft and also commend the dedication of the Magicomm UK development crew for their commitment to deliver in a very short time frame. I appreciate that our project has made them work long hours within a different time zone to ensure that we had our solution delivered on the promised day ready for use.”
Garry Hollinshead, MD, Magicomm Limited stated, “We welcome Lee Croft and his team from G5ve to Magicomm and I am enthused by his energy and emphasis on customer service. TAC’s application was challenging to say the least; on balance, we would have liked a little more time for application stress testing that we usually insist upon prior to deployment. This project is a great indicator for the undoubted success that Lee will achieve in delivering Magicomm’s proprietary solutions to the Australian and New Zealand market places. More orders are already in the pipeline from G5ve, which is great news for G5ve and Magicomm, Anoto and the Industry.”
