An Image Only field represents an area where no data capture should occur. This is typically used to identify an area where diagrams are created or signitures will be present.

An Image Only field does not have a function when processing incoming forms however it does have a purpose when data is exported:

• When exporting a text-based PDF file, image only areas retain their original pen strokes.
• Magicomm can extract image snippets from image only areas in integration scenarios.
