Magicomm Launches CareShare application designed specifically for NHS Primary Care Trusts and associated services employing Community Care workers. Drawing on its experience with Lambeth PCT, Magicomm has ‘productised’ the application resulting in a high specification low total cost of ownership.

CareShare enables Community Care nurses and workers to complete a wide range of familiar forms including Common Assessment Framework, Single Assessment Forms, Clinical Progress Notes and Equality Monitoring Forms.

The design of the application enables new forms to be added to the core application with full handwriting recognition. Data verification and validation tracking are standard. Data output is available for integration to Electronic Patient Records databases. CareShare caters for mobile and office based staff. To trial and implement CareShare is extremely cost effective as the development cost is reduced due to the ‘productisation’ of the software.
